Visit-Midwest.com is specially designed for our land based kiosk systems located throughout Northwestern Wisconsin, including the Northern Lakes Visitor's Center.  As participation grows, we will continue to add counties/states to our system.

FOR KIOSK USERS ONLY!!

  1. I am a "TOUCH SCREEN", which means your fingertip controls the mouse cursor.  When you touch the screen, it responds as though you are clicking the mouse in that location.  For example, to view these instructions you had to touch the part of the screen labeled "How to Use Me".  DO NOT DRAG YOUR FINGER ON THE SCREEN - MOUSE WILL NOT RESPOND!!

  2. All information is categorized by county/region...and is accessible from the menu on the main page.

  3. Once you enter the county or region of interest, you have the option of choosing the cities information you are interested in.

  4. Once you enter the city of interest, all information is categorized...i.e. Area Lodging, Attractions, Real Estate...please select from these categories...categories are then broken down even further until you reach a list of businesses.

  5. Business sites have unique feature called..."CLICK HERE TO CALL"...if you are interested in calling a particular business from the kiosk...please "PICK UP THE PHONE"...and then touch the button labeled "CLICK HERE TO CALL!"  You will be automatically connected to the business of interest.  **NOTE:  ONLY THOSE BUSINESSES THAT HAVE PROVIDED "TOLL FREE" OR "LOCAL NUMBERS" WILL BE CONNECTED.

  6. Once you are finished accessing the information...feel free to walk away...system will be redirected to the main page after 5 minutes.
