Welcome to Park Falls, WI!
Park
Falls is located in the north Central part of the State of Wisconsin and
is surrounded by over 900,000 acres of federal, state, and county
forest. We are known as the Ruffed Grouse Capital of the World, but our
area supports many species of wildlife. Some of the different types of
animals and birds are black bear, whitetail deer, timber wolves,
coyotes, snowshoe hare, badger, fisher, porcupine, raccoon, along with
loons, hawks, owls, bald eagles, osprey, great blue herons and many
types of ducks and geese.
We offer uncrowded waterways for fishing
and boating activities such as the North and South Forks of the flambeau
River, Butternut Lake and the famous Turtle Flambeau Flowage,
Wisconsin's own Boundary Water Experience; over 30,000 acres of water
surrounded by undeveloped pristine forest.
Snowmobiling enthusiasts come to the Park
Falls area for the 500 miles of excellent groomed trails and the 200
inches of snow which help to make these trails some of the finest in
Wisconsin. We offer a 24 hour/ 7 days a week trail condition report
beginning December 1st each year and continuing through the
